Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-24. GOAT Rugby League Draft is run by Genghis Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 55 665 089 047), Perth, Western Australia. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account: your email, first and last name, team name, favourite club, whether you want game emails (and when you said so), and when you joined. If you sign in with Google, Google's account id and the name and email Google gives us.
- Play: your runs (draft choices, season and score) and leaderboard results.
- Security: your network (IP) address and a random device id kept in a cookie, used for rate limits and to enforce bans. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in.
We don't collect payment details, contacts, location or anything from your other apps, and we don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To sign you in, run the game and the leaderboards, and keep your history.
- To stop cheating and abuse (including bans).
- To email you sign-in codes and essential account messages, and, only if you said yes, game news, new modes and challenges. Unsubscribe from any news email or turn it off in your profile.
Who sees it
- Other players see only your team name, your scores and records on the leaderboards. Never your name or email.
- Service providers who run parts of the game for us: our hosting provider (BinaryLane, Sydney), Cloudflare (which carries traffic to the site and protects it from attacks), our email provider Resend (to send codes and emails) and Google (if you use Google sign-in). They only use it to provide their service.
- We don't sell your information or give it to clubs, the NRL or advertisers. We'd only share it if the law requires us to.
Where it's kept and for how long
Our web server keeps short technical logs of requests (time, address, page, browser) for security and fixing problems, for up to 30 days. Account information is on our servers, kept while your account exists. Delete your account in your profile and we delete your account and your runs straight away (backups roll over within 30 days). Records of bans (the address, device id and reason) are kept so bans keep working.
Your choices
You can see and change your details in your profile, turn emails off, or delete your account. To ask for a copy of your information, or with any question or complaint, email [email protected]. If you're not happy with our answer you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Children
You must be 13 or over to make an account, and under-18s need a parent's or guardian's permission.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll ask you to accept the new version in the game.
